Any football coach will tell you that America’s game requires an unprecedented ability to see, be it the ball, players, or plays. What they probably don’t teach is that it could one day come in handy for witnessing unidentified flying objects.

Recently, multiple Las Vegas Raiders players have publicly shared their UFO encounter, which occurred on a team flight headed back to Vegas from Miami.

According to the story, players were hanging out in the cockpit having small talk with the pilots, when they heard the them discussing a strange anomaly in the sky. When asked by the pilots if they could see the strange flashing light, the three players standing nearby said they were unable to.

“I go back to my seat. Probably like 20 minutes goes by. I get a text from AJ and he’s like hey come up here we’re seeing these lights and dude I go up there and immediately I just see like this big white light and it’s getting bigger and it’s like going back like smaller, getting bigger and smaller and bigger and smaller and we’re all just like what the hell is that,” said Raiders center Andre James.

At the point, the pilots are trying to remain calm, maintaining that it’s likely just a satellite.

“All of a sudden this light goes up down and it does like a circle and we’re all looking at each other like that’s a satellite? And the pilot goes yeah that’s not a satellite, I don’t know what that is,” James said during the podcast.

Shortly after that, another UFO appears below the first one, and they start moving side to side together. When asked where they were in the sky, the pilots told them they were actually near Area 51.

This event reportedly went on for 20-30 minutes. Players were in and out off the cockpit, stewardesses witnessed it, and some teammates actually recorded it.

“It was crazy, it was getting big as fuck then just disappearing going tiny tiny tiny then all a sudden kept getting bigger, we’re sitting there like what the…” Said Maxx Crosby, another Raider teammate.

Crosby also spoke with Jim Rome about the incident during an interview, confirming that there was nothing on the flight radar either. “It’s real. We were literally on a flight back from Miami, and we’ve seen a UFO with our own eyes, and that sounds crazy but you can ask the pilots, anybody who was there, it was wild.”
